Secure Industry Cloud Platform - material.one passed its three year re-certified for the TISAX standard
material.one AG is pleased to announce that it has once again received the coveted TISAX certificate for a period of three years. With this certification, the Augsburg-based company achieves an important milestone with its collaborative supply chain platform, namely to increase information security in automotive production and throughout the entire supply chain in the automotive industry.
What is TISAX?
TISAX, the Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange, was developed in cooperation between the "ENX Association" (formerly European Network Exchange) and the "VDA" (German Association of the Automotive Industry). This system includes industry-specific security procedures based on the established ISO27001/27002 standards, but specifically tailored to address the ever-changing security risks in the automotive supply chain.
The annual TISAX updates are reviewed as part of a comprehensive assessment to ensure the highest level of security in the supply chains between manufacturers, their OEMs and their suppliers. This underscores material.one AG's commitment to ensuring the highest safety standards in the automotive industry.
The requirements for digital security in automotive supply chains demand high security standards and conscientious attention. ENX and VDA support their members in this task with the TISAX certificate. With TISAX Controls aspects of risk, information security, asset management, security policy, human resources, supplier, communication security, compliance policy and much more are digitally and comprehensively monitored.
TISAX certifications are performed by independent, accredited registration service providers overseen by ENX. The certified companies make their data available to the entire network to confirm that they have implemented a comprehensive information security management system in accordance with TISAX requirements.
TISAX certification is important for automotive companies because it is designed to ensure the security of components, APIs, and interfaces in the manufacturing process. The importance of digital technologies to the automotive industry has grown dramatically, but this growth is accompanied by increased vulnerability to cyberattacks.
material.one has received TISAX certification again
"The renewed TISAX certification confirms our process approach and quality claim. As material.one with its digital platform provides the central link for the component and material release process between manufacturers, their OEMs and their suppliers, the TISAX certification ensures more safety for the entire automotive production process and ultimately for each individual motorist as well," declared Bernd Löhle, CEO of material.one AG.
